There is some phenomenal fat biking in New England. After owning a relatively modern 27.5” fat bike for a few seasons I finally started to ride it regularly during the 2020-2021 season. The growing popularity of the Snowdog as a grooming device has dramatically increased the amount of ridable terrain. The best riding I enjoyed during the season was around Gorham, NH on the Moose Brook State Park trails and Gorham trails, which are maintained by the Coös Cycling Club.
In the November 17, 2013 issue of the The New York Times’s In Transit section, a brewmaster at Brooklyn Brewery described his trip to Sweden to help establish a micro-brewing culture like that in the United States (see Drinking Beer in Sweden).
On October 30, 2013 a functional art installation provided light to the town square in Rjukan, Norway that is normally shadowed by the neighboring mountains for six months a year (see Giant mirrors reflect winter sun into Norwegian town of Rjukan).
